I sought it out there in the field,
amidst the muck and bramble.
I sought it where the forest ends,
and where the masses scramble.
I found it in a place of sounds –
a place of frantic action.
I found it in the land of strife,
and violent distraction.
I lost it in the highest place –
the tallest place around me.
I lost it there up in the Plains,
and still it does confound me.
